In his time of need: Billy Keener

It is with a broken heart that I write this. In the last week Billy has been diagnosed with Stage III lung cancer.

Billy is 84 days clean and sober and is in an inpatient rehab facility through the grace of God. He is in good spirits and is surrounded by much love and light and wants nothing more than to stay sober.

He does not have health insurance and has applied for government assistance but in the meantime needs immediate testing based on the size of the mass and lymphatic involvement shown on his CT imaging. His day to day needs are currently being met.

Money from this fundraiser will be used by a conservatorship to pay for his urgent testing, prescriptions and doctor fees. So far the cost of these initial expenses (X-ray, CT and prescriptions for pneumonia) have been paid by a friend on credit cards, but next Wednesday's PET Scan to determine the extent of the metastasis is $1,500.
