Hello, my name is Erika, and I’m reaching out to our community in a time of great need. Recently, my husband Jesus Hernandez aka Chuy was struck by a car while walking with our baby. We thank God that our baby is safe, but my husband has suffered serious injuries but was released by the hospital and is recovering at home. He’s having difficulty walking and suffering in severe pain, needs to walk with a cane. The person who hit my husband fled the scene it was a hit and run.

During this incredibly challenging time, we are finding it difficult to cover medical expenses and care for our four children. My husband is unable to work while he focuses on healing and recovering and as a single-income family, we are now facing financial hardship.

We humbly ask for your prayers and support as we walk through this trial. Any help, whether it’s a financial contribution or simply keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, will provide much-needed assistance in covering medical expenses and everyday needs while my husband recovers.

Hola, mi nombre es Erika, y me estoy acercando a nuestra comunidad en un momento de gran necesidad. Recientemente, mi esposo Jesús Hernandez, conocido como Chuy, fue atropellado por un automóvil mientras caminaba con nuestra bebé. Damos Gracias a Dios porque nuestra bebé está a salvo, pero mi esposo ha sufrido lesiones graves, fue dado de alta por el hospital y se está en casa recuperándose. Tiene dificultades para caminar y sufre un dolor intenso. Necesita caminar con un la ayuda de un bastón. La persona que atropelló a mi marido huyó del lugar, fue un atropello y fuga.

Durante este momento increíblemente difícil, nos resulta difícil cubrir los gastos médicos y cuidar a nuestros cuatro hijos. Mi esposo no puede trabajar mientras se enfoca en sanar y recuperación física y, como familia de un solo ingreso, ahora enfrentamos dificultades financieras.

Pedimos humildemente sus oraciones y apoyo mientras caminamos a través de esta prueba.
