Hello, I am Iyad. I live in Gaza, I am 52 years old, and I have a beautiful and loving family. We lived a quiet, beautiful, and enjoyable life in our home, and we enjoyed going to the sea and seeing the beauty of Gaza. We even bought a new sofa a few months before the war, and we were happy with it until October 7, 2023. In 2014, a war was launched against Gaza by Israel, and the house in which I lived was destroyed, and I was not compensated by UNRWA.

also had land, and I used to see it as a paradise, and I was happy every time I looked at it, and now my land is dirt and a road for Israeli tanks and troop carriers.

I had to move to Khan Yunis with my relatives, and our house in Khan Yunis was bombed, and my wife’s mother died there.

We emerged from under the rubble alive, praise be to God. Then I had to flee to Rafah and make a tent and live in it. We do not have the minimum necessities for life, and also our lives are in great danger. We have been displaced for 156 days from our area to Khan Yunis and Rafah because we left the village of Khuza’a on 7/10/2023 from the first day of the war. Now I am thinking about the future of my children and I want to leave Gaza. They have robbed my children of their most basic rights to education, health, and the simplest means of livelihood and resistance to life.

Their rights were completely taken away and now they live in a maze

For example, my son Nadeem was an outstanding and diligent student. He got a 98.3 average in the first year of secondary school, and he had great ambition.

Also, my son Karim got a 99.5 average in second middle school

He excelled and hoped for a beautiful future full of achievements

Also, everyone is brilliant, hardworking, and has high ambitions, but this war destroyed all ambitions

We just want to get out of this war and get out of this frightening, painful, painful nightmare
