We lost my nephew Freddy last week at the age of 27. He struggled with addiction which ultimately took his life.
He was so smart, brave, artistic, and funny; a practical jokester with a memorable laugh. He is missed terribly and will always be remembered.
We all tried to help and guide him, but the pull of addiction took him far too soon.
Freddy was in and out of Teen Challenge (a non-profit Christian based organization) several times. He often gave up, thinking he could do it on his own. Each time he returned, they would allow him back into the program, only to see him wander off again.
My goal is to raise money to donate to Teen Challenge Texas in hopes that other kids may have their life changed and addictions cured. Please donate any amount if you can.
