Eyeleen is a collaborative photographic documentary exploring the lives and creative expressions of visually impaired artists.
Set in Devon, England, the work follows Charlie – who lost sight in one eye after an accident – as she navigates daily life with resilience, openness and creativity. Through quiet moments and shared conversations, the project traces the healing power of art and the strength found in adaptation.
Honest and understated, Eyeleen invites viewers to see beyond limitation and to believe in the beauty of perspective, imagination and hope.
The funds raised through this Go Fund Me will be used towards the project to cover expenses and overheads such as travel, accommodation, high quality exhibition prints and a small fee (up to 30% of that raised) to reward my participant for their involvement and efforts.
Note - Donations made by Ben Montgomery (the organiser) are primarily funded through fundraisers, often supported by print sales.
