When the unimaginable happens, we search for answers. We never want another family to experience the pain that we live with every day. One answer — one way we can make a difference — is by helping as many babies and young children as possible learn to swim.

We enrolled Emily’s twin sister in survival swim lessons to protect her, and through that, we’ve seen firsthand just how important and transformative these lessons are. They truly save lives.

In Emily’s honor, we are raising funds to provide life-saving survival swim lessons to children who might not otherwise have access to them.

Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4. It can happen silently and in as little as 20 seconds — even with the most loving and attentive parents. No one is immune, but we can take steps to prevent it.
