In dire need of help & support for our family

Andy and I (Jasmine) have fallen into tough times and are in need of support and a home to stay. We want to thank everyone in advance for taking your time reading this and sharing it.

1. Moved to Oklahoma for a better job opportunity

2. Loss of job in Oklahoma after being assaulted

3. Moved back home from Oklahoma due to no success in finding a job.

4. Current living situation has changed.

5. No success of selling our home due to the bad market.

6. Maxed out our credit/line of credits.

7. Unable to afford paying our current mortgage and a place to live.

Not many people know but Andy and I moved to Oklahoma in 2021 for a huge job opportunity. Taking a turn for the worse, Andy was assaulted in August of 2022 by another manager at the facility. After that event the company fired Andy and kept the assailant. (We have won the case and the assailant faces charges)

We moved back home because Andy was unable to find a job in Oklahoma. I have been working countless OT and cutting back on expenses but it wasn't enough to keep us afloat. We eventually got to a point where we could no longer afford to keep paying our mortgage “with just my income and maxing out all our credit card just to stay afloat”, and had to move back home so he could find a job. Since being back Andy has found a job, but all of our funds are currently tied up to our mortgage in Oklahoma.

We listed our home in July 2023 with no success. We have wonderful friends that helped us with a place to stay since we moved back, but we do not want to over step our stay. This is where we are looking for support from our family, friends, and the community to help keep a roof over our heads.

All of Andy's family is out of state and my family has no room in their homes to take the 2 of us and our 3 dogs, as seen in our photos. We recently found an apartment that is willing to take all 3 of our dogs, but we cannot afford to pay the rent until our home is sold.

This really troubles us to even have to reach out for help, but we have exhausted all of our options. As we wait for an offer on our home to be sold, we need help to get to a new place and be able to afford a few months rent. Our realtor has been working hard, and we are predicting since we are selling short to appease the market for the sale of our home, we will be able to free ourselves from the mortgage and close that chapter in our lives. This has been really detrimental on our family physically and emotionally. We could not lose any of our fur babies.
