Dear friends and family, they say you can't get help if you don't ask... I need help from you, PLEASE.

As many of you know, I have major problems with both of my feet that cause me to use crutches. I have horrible arthritis in both feet, and it hurts me so much to stand while working. I am trying to get them fixed with surgery, but unfortunately, I can't get disability, SSI, or any other assistance because I have worked most of my life in the deli business, and stores don't offer that. It is a very long story why I have worked this way for most of my life, but unfortunately, that's what happened.

Our store is closing in less than a month, and after that, I don't know what I will be able to do since most stores will not hire me with the disability I have. I walk with crutches and need them to support me; without them, I can't stand. I feel like a failure and embarrassment even asking for help, but I am in such a bad situation. I have used whatever I had in the bank for the sick days I had that I don't get paid for and taking Uber to and from work, sometimes 4x a day since my boss was kind enough to let me go home to relax for a few hours during the day. I would be facing eviction if things get worse, and I cannot live in a shelter or on the streets. If you would be able to help me, I would be eternally grateful.
