My name is Fabrizio.

I am HIV+ and live with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD). I also have been dealing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) for over ten years.I am living on government support, specifically the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) as I am unable to work.

As you may have heard, those of us on ODSP live well below the poverty line. I receive just over $1300 a month the bulk of which is going towards rent. I am unable to save for my future and am constantly being penalized with bank fees and interest. What started as minor debt leftover from school, has become a constant chain on my neck that continues to grow over time.

Being free of this debt would allow me to have *just* enough to cover my rent, bills, food and maybe even have a little I can squirrel away. As it stands right now, I lose over a $100 every month and I am never able to put a significant dent into my debt. I am in my forties now and really wish I could start putting something aside for my future. I worry about how I am going to be able to keep it together in old age.
