lost the use of my legs and cant walk or work

This by far is not easy for me, but we are financially struggling. I've been out of work since February 2025 due to me being in a hospital for 2 months and had 1 surgery on March 5th and another on April 1, which has left me unable to walk. I was denied unemployment due to me physically not being able to work. I'm in the process of disability and working with a lawyer to fight this due to me begging for help, knowing something wasn't right but never got answers.

At the end of February, I started declining fast. I fell 7 times, lost the use of my right leg, and within hours, my left one was done as well. I was taken by ambulance to Belfast, where I spent 12 hours, then transported to Bangor for emergency surgery. I had an infection wrapped around the electrons and pushed into my spine. I had an infectious disease doctor I met with daily. I ended up with a PICC line and very serious health issues.

**The bills don't stop.** My lights were shut off, my landlord came to evict me, car payments are behind, Rent-A-Center is at my door to collect, and all the other bills failed to pay because I have no income. I've been depressed with everything piling on me—bills and now being in a wheelchair. It's all new and not sitting well with me. I was trapped in my home with no way in or out but by ambulance until a kind person paid for me to get a ramp and my Hoyer lift. I have to pay $125 a month, and I'm 3 months behind on that.

I don't get help with getting wipes, gloves, and things I need. I don't get government help, so it's been many days with an empty cupboard and fridge. **If you can help, it is very much appreciated. If not, if you could share it out, thank you.** ❤️
