A shining light in all our lives, Carolyn (Carol) was a beloved and devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, Wife and so much more. Through difficult situations she never lost sight that God was in charge. She did not waver in her faith.
In 2014 after over 30 years of marriage and the raising of 3 beautiful daughters, husband James was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident just 1 block from their home. Just 4 months later, the unthinkable happened when oldest daughter Korisa lost her valiant battle with cancer.
Last year Carol was able to smile again as a friend from high school, Bruce Daniel, and she began corresponding. Carol's friends and family were overjoyed with her newfound happiness when she and Bruce were recently married. To see her smile, and hear her laugh again, was a true blessing to all.
At Carol and Bruce's urging, Carol's mom and dad Joe and Wanda Robbins (sincerely 2 of the most wonderful people on this planet!) accepted their invitation to move into their beautiful home, complete with in-laws quarters, in North Carolina. As nervous as they were to move across the country and leave their lifelong church and friends, Joe and Wanda decided since Joe was facing some health issues himself, it would be better to be close to Carol. They sold their California possessions (including selling their home at a loss as it was still in the economic downturn) and moved into Carol and Bruce's home. It was truthfully a new blessing on life and happiness all around. Bruce's family fell in love with the Robbins' and in return Joe and Wanda had even more grandbabies and great-grandbabies to love on!
Sadly, in early April of this year, as her parent's apartment was completed and Joe and Wanda were still in the process of getting situated, the startling event happened and their youngest daughter (Carol) had unexpectedly passed away.
THE NEED: Funds to help move them back from North Carolina, travel expenses, car transport, setting up in a place to live back in Lancaster, Ca since they sold their home to move to NC, medical expenses etc. Every single penny will be for them and will be accounted for. Basically they are incredible people who need our help to move back to California after this unspeakable string of tragedies.
