In Buckeye’s Memory Canine Cancer & Rescue Fund

This is a post that I should not have to make. We lost our sweet, loving, outgoing, happy, caring, playful, cheerful baby yesterday at the young age of 6. Aggressive cancer can work so fast it is known as the silent killer. We took him to the vet a few short weeks ago when we felt a small mass. We were told it would heal on its own if we limit his activity. We went back 2 more times and he was released for full activity. We went camping last week and he had the time of his life playing, then seemed tired. Monday dark urine, Monday evening we were told there was a huge mass that needed to be removed the next morning. Yesterday we found out he had a football size mass in his spleen that had spread into his intestines that was very likely aggressive cancer at the rate it progressed. He stopped breathing and they couldn’t get him back. Our worst nightmare came true. Buckeye was so much more than just our pet, he was our daily laughter, happiness & joy. We are devastated. I will be posting a go fund me in his honor to support canine cancer awareness. 100% will be donated to help research or go to local shelters to save lives and spread awareness. I will dedicate as much time as I can in my sweet boy’s honor to prevent as many pet parents and shelters from dealing with this horrible unfortunate grief. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU BUCKEYE!!
