In an unexpected time of need

Hi, my name is Lisa. Michelle has been my friend for almost 35 years. She recently and very unexpectedly lost her husband, Travis. For those of you who know Michelle, she hates asking anyone for help, but she needs our help more than ever right now.
On December 10th, Travis started having a difficult time breathing and was experiencing some leg pain. Throughout the weekend it progressively got worse. Michelle encouraged him to go see a doctor. He said he would call on Monday.
On December 12th, Michelle and Travis celebrated their one year wedding anniversary. That Monday his breathing and leg pain intensified. They called the doctor and it was recommended that Travis come in and be evaluated. As they were getting ready to leave, Travis could only make it from the bedroom to the couch. That's when Michelle called 911. Paramedics arrived and transported Travis to the hospital. Michelle was told she could go with him, but when she arrived at the hospital she wasn't allowed in due to Covid. Michelle refused to leave the parking lot without knowing if he was ok. She sat in her car for 3 hours, calling and getting updates. The nurse said he was in critical condition and a doctor would be calling her shortly. When the doctor called he told Michelle they had been working on him for over and hour, but tragically, Travis didn't make it. At that time Michelle was able to go inside and be with him one last time.
Travis was only 41 years old. He has one Daughter, and one Grandson. Travis was also a very positive role model in Michelle's four children's lives. He worked very hard to provide for his family, and took care of everything. Losing your husband so unexpectedly, you can imagine the stress she's carrying. Grieving the loss of Travis, being there for her kids, and having to figure out all the financial stuff is a lot for anyone to deal with.
Michelle was told it could take a while before she can get everything figured out. She is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her and the kids in their home. It's not going to be easy, but she won't give up. I'm hoping to take a little stress off her plate while she gets all of this sorted out.
If you're able to help in any way we would be forever grateful. Anything raised will go directly to Michelle to help cover the cost of bills while she gets everything figured out. Thank you so much for all of your support. I know it means the world to Michelle and the kids.
