In an instant life changed for Angie

Hi, I’m Angie's, Aunt Marge. I wanted to tell you how wonderful I think she is, but you probably hear that a lot. So instead, I'm going to tell you who she is. Angie is a quiet, kind and calm soul, always warm and caring; I can't recall her saying a harsh word about anyone. She is a dog whisperer extraordinaire; her fur babies have the same calm and gentle disposition that she does. Angie and her husband Bob have raised two terrific children. Their daughter is an R.N., and their son is an exceptional H.S. student who loves to play golf. They have always opened their home as our family gathering place for holidays, birthdays, or just for the family to relax and hang out together. Angie always goes above and beyond for her family members and friends.
Eight weeks ago, while getting ready for work, Angie collapsed with stroke-like symptoms. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a non-malignant tumor about the size of half an orange in her head. After consultation with neurologists, the decision was made to operate immediately. Although the tumor wasn't cancerous, its size and location were life-threatening. The surgery went well, and all but a tiny piece was removed. She was discharged from the hospital by the following week. Unfortunately, shortly after coming home, she suffered a major setback. She was re-hospitalized with dangerous fevers, low blood counts that warranted transfusions and low oxygen levels. There were times when we were very uncertain of the outcome. She completed various tests and procedures as she became the team's medical mystery. Thankfully, Angie is home again, but her recovery has become increasingly complicated. She requires additional physical and occupational therapy. Although Bob has been taking care of her, he must return to work soon and Angie needs at-home care. As a family, we'll do all we can, but with significant hospital bills and the cost of home care, they'll need some financial help.
We ask for donations of any size to alleviate some hardships this wonderful, loving family is enduring. All proceeds go directly to Angie and Bob.

Thank you for taking the time to read Angie's story.
