Hello, my name is Michaela, I am the mam of Kaciee-Jayne Pluves we are looking to raise money on her behalf for the amazing team on ward 12 PICU at Newcastle RVI The Great North Children's Hospital. Here's a bit if why we are wanting to do this.
Last Saturday Kaciee-jayne become unwell with a wheeze and was taken to james cook hospital and early hours of Monday morning Kaciee-jayne took a terrible turn for the worst and had to be put into a coma and put on a ventilator to help her breath, she was then transfered to Newcastle RVI so they could support her more, things then took an awful turn for the worst when Kaciee-jayne had a cardiac arrest and we lost her for 7 minutes but the team she was under saved her life and brought her back to us she then had to be put into a Neuro Supported Sleep to help reduce any potential or further brain damage for 48 hours and we can thankfully say that she woke as we expected and without any damage at all, and ever since have been absolutely incredible, we as a family are so very thankful for them and they don't get the recognition enough they have gone above and beyond for our little girl and us as a family in all honestly and we would like to try and give something back to them. Our daughter is alive and fighting everyday because of them.
Kaciee-jayne is now awake and getting stronger everyday and we as a family couldn't be more over joyed to see her big brown eyes and her big smile.
Her dad and his friends are doing a walk up Ben Nevis in June and they are also dedicating that to WARD 12 PICU so if you could anything little please donate for this wonderful ward who saved our daughter ♥️
