In Abundance and Memory For Bryan

Donation protected
It is with overwhelming sadness that we share the loss of our beloved Bryan "BJ" Jaquish, who crossed over into the spirit realm on 3/25/25. Bryan was a son, a brother, a partner, a father figure, and a cherished part of our family. His warmth, humor, and love left an indelible mark on all who had the fortune of knowing him. Though his sudden passing has left us heartbroken, we find ourselves on a journey, a path through grief and remembrance, seeking to honor his life and the love he shared while reflecting his light into the world that remains.

Bryan was a deeply loving, enduring, and tenderhearted person whose presence in our lives will always be cherished. Our hope is to gather more than enough to honor his wishes, celebrate his life, and allow ourselves the time and emotional space to grieve and heal as a family. With your support, we can carry his memory forward and find strength in this time of heartbreak.

Let’s come together to create abundance in honor of Bryan and for the well-being of our family.

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also facing significant financial challenges. This fundraiser is organized by me, Maija, alongside my sister Michelle, Bryan’s partner Shawna, and our mom Grace, who held so much love for Bryan. Our family is taking time off work to mourn, support one another, and take steps to find a way forward as a family.

With gratitude in our hearts, your contributions will help us:

- Provide for Bryan’s final arrangements in accordance with his wishes.
- Honor Bryan’s memory by giving him the celebration of life he so richly deserves.
- Provide our family with the means to meet our essential needs, giving us the time and space to grieve and find strength in one another.
- Ease the additional burdens and challenges we’ve encountered since Bryan’s passing, allowing us to move forward with hope and resilience.

We are still in the process of planning Bryan’s celebration of life, with the hope of holding it in Bellingham, by the marina, a place of serenity that mirrors the beauty of his spirit. This will likely take place in late spring or early summer, allowing our family the space to grieve, save, and gather the necessary resources to create a meaningful event that honors Bryan’s memory. It will also give those who wish to attend ample time to plan and join us in remembering him. We’ll provide updates as the details come together, but we have already begun looking into costs for catering, the venue, and other meaningful touches to honor Bryan’s memory.

From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for any love, kindness, and generosity you may choose to share. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with others would mean so much to us. For those who wish to offer support in other ways, we’ve set up this Google Form for each of our families’ households:
