Hey all,
I need your help. Not long ago, my father, Wayne Gamble, passed away suddenly without a signed or updated will. Sorting out his affairs required legal assistance, and we were fortunate to work with Yens Pederson, a lawyer deeply committed to our community. Afterward, my siblings and I decided to prepare our own wills to avoid similar complications.
As someone living on a fixed income through the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disabilities (SAID), I don't have the resources to cover the costs of creating my will. Yens generously reduced his fees to make it possible, but I still owe him $1,200 - an amount I simply cannot pay right now.
Having a will in place ensures my chosen family - those who have supported me through the challenges of the last few years and have saved me from homelessness more times than I can count - can benefit from what I leave behind. It's my way of paying forward the kindness I've received and making sure that they're taken care of if anything does happen to me.
I've set a fundraising goal of $2,000. The first $1,200 will settle my legal bill, and anything beyond that will go toward veterinary care for my dogs, covering car repairs, and helping me stay afloat as I continue working toward health and stability.
If you're able to contribute, no amount is too small. Your help not only supports me but also supports the incredible work Yens does for our community.
Thank you for your time and support. I love you all very much.
