Our friend Sara Hawsey passed away July 10. Coach Max Hawsey and Sara, with Marion, Hunter and Natalie are in North Carolina visiting relatives and she died in her sleep.
On our last walk together, Sara talked about how kind and helpful Max is, how she adores her kids, how she was traveling often to help her mom with cancer, and how she loved the family home in North Carolina with the most incredible views of the mountains. She said her dream job would be to help the elderly. Of course we talked about the Scots. What a huge heart she had for all! Her faith in Christ was secure.
The family will be in North Carolina for another week.
May we rally to show our love and support for this wonderful family and honor Sara's memory. She showed boundless enthusiasm as a mother and as a coach's wife!
