Cancer sucks.

Update, 10/17/22: With heavy hearts, her family would like you to know that after a long fight with cancer, Robin passed away peacefully on October 14th. The last few weeks of her life were filled with care, comfort, and quality time. For the last month of her life she was cared for at her daughter Nakole's house, and was doted on by her and daughter Sarah as well as their families. We will always remember her strength, resilience, and one-of-a-kind humor.
Her friends meant the world to her, especially Jayne who took such wonderful care of her while she battled this horrible disease. We would like to thank you all for bringing her so much light, love, and laughter. Please join us for Robin's funeral service on October 29th at 11:00 AM at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, Wisconsin. A luncheon will follow.
Donations through GoFundMe will be used to assist with Robin's memorial service and any other final expenses that arise for the family in the coming months.
Thank you all for your support, kind words, and prayers.
Update, 5/29/22: After her May scans showed that the cancer has continued to grow, despite her receiving the newest and best cancer regiment currently available, Robin’s doctor made the decision to stop all treatment. He estimated that she has no more than six months left to live. Small cell lung cancer is one of the fastest-growing and most deadly forms of cancer. We are determined to make these remaining days as stable and as positive as they can be. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and your shares. They are needed now more than ever.

Hi, I'm Louryn. I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my Grandma Robin.
My Grandma Robin has always been a creative, patriotic, tough-as-nails lady. She has a unique, fiercely loyal spirit. Once you’re in her circle, you’re in for life.
She has already beaten cancer once, but she received a new diagnosis last spring. Her doctors say it's terminal.
Perhaps the only thing more aggressive than small-cell lung cancer are the medicines that can mitigate it. Every few weeks, the treatments that can help extend her comfort leave her exhausted, weak, nauseous, and in pain.
Between the endless appointments, the lack of state or federal aid, and the need to drive for hours to get to her doctor, financial concerns have become one of the most significant burdens. There are fewer nonprofits available than ever to assist with her monetary needs, and the Covid-19 pandemic has dried up many available funds.
My grandma has always earned her living with her own two hands. After raising and showing world-class quarter horses for many years, she turned her passions into a business. Most of you are likely familiar with Innovations N Style, her handmade custom show apparel brand. Unfortunately, due to her physical symptoms, she can no longer create or sell these items, meaning that tough times have become even tougher. Independently maintaining her financial stability has become an increasingly heavy burden.
Robin's specific brand of wit, sarcasm, and tough love has made her lucky enough to have friends all across the country, many of whom have expressed a desire to help.
We ask for your prayers, your positive thoughts, and your well wishes. However, if you are so inclined, any amount you choose to donate will go directly to her, with the goal of improving her quality of life. This fundraiser aims to secure a better in-person care system to help her with errands and daily duties, prepare for funeral expenses, assist with the cost of living, and ensure that her remaining days are as stress-free as they possibly can be.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading, for praying, and for loving my Grandma almost as much as I do.
Please consider sharing this fundraiser on behalf of my grandmother.
