Improving accessibility at Rhws Primary School
Donation protected
Rhws Primary School is a wonderful, community school, with just under 400 children from the local area attending.
As a listed building, the school is limited on what it can do to improve accessibility, and the contractors it can use to make these improvements and adaptations. And of course these adaptations are not cheap, and are not funded by the local authority.
Like many schools, they are chronically under-funded and are in desperate need of financial support, not just for 'luxuries', but for essential maintenance and adaptations needed to improve accessibility at the school for pupils, staff and families.
We (parents of children attending Rhws Primary) are encouraging all pupils, families and friends of Rhws Primary School to take part in a 'summer sponsored challenge' to raise money for the school, to use towards these essential accessibility improvement costs.
If every child in the school raised just £10 each, we would hit our target!
With grateful thanks for the donations and support, and good luck to all children, families and friends taking part in the challenges!
(Don't forget to share your challenges on Social Media too!)
