Hi, I’m a parent of one of the children who attend Appleton Thorn Preschool and I’m raising money to help them upgrade their woodland area.

The Little Woodland is a wonderful space for the preschool children where valuable learning takes place, but unfortunately it is located on a public field, which means it is open to anybody as the fence is weak and easy to get through.

It desperately needs a more secure fence along with other improvements for the preschool to enjoy. The preschool have no budget to afford this, so the staff are literally picking up the pieces every Monday morning. For the children to have to see the vandalised equipment each week is understandably distressing. I know that the local community is a particularly supportive one, and therefore I am asking for donations to help fund a proper fence, buy new storage (the current storage has been broken into multiple times), fix broken equipment, and purchase upgrades for the Little Woodland. This will not only benefit the current cohort of children but all the future children to come.

Donations will go directly to Appleton Thorn Preschool.
