ImprovCity - Documentary Film
We are filming a documentary about ImprovCity, a small improv theater group located in Orange County, CA which for the past 11 years has not only been providing entertainment to the community, but has become one of the top entertainment venues in Southern California.
We are hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of making the film, and seeking assistance in raising money so that we may submit the film to festivals once completed.
We feel this film needs to be made and this story told. ImprovCity has been a staple of the community for over the past 11 years - not only providing an affordable place for family-friendly entertainment, but also becoming a small business that helps promotes local charities and works with local area schools.
ImprovCity had to close its doors in March 2020 due to the COVID19 crisis. We are hoping the success of this film will help to keep ImprovCity alive in the hearts and minds of its fans and create some new ones once they are allowed to safely reopen their doors.
