I address you with all due respect and the hope of receiving support from PRO Fondos. My name is Juan P. Payano Jones, and I am currently in a very difficult medical and financial situation.

Two years and six months ago, I was involved in a car accident in the United States. While returning from work on a motorcycle, a vehicle struck me from behind, causing a severe spinal cord injury that left me paraplegic. Since then, I have lost mobility in my legs and control of my sphincters, and I am completely dependent on my family for basic daily activities.

I currently live with my mother, Lucía Jones García, and my brother, Miguel Jones, who help me in any way they can. However, my medical needs are beyond our financial means.

The funds I am requesting will be used for:

• Specialized medical treatments

• Physical therapies

• Home adaptations

• Purchase of medical and mobility equipment

• Stem cell implants (6 treatments in one year)

There is a stem cell implant treatment in the Dominican Republic that offers a real possibility of improving my quality of life. According to specialists, this treatment could help me regain some mobility, strengthen my body, regain control of my bodily functions, and, with God's help, walk again. There are six sections. The cost of each therapy is $7,600, a total of $45,600 for one year.

I received a small portion of the compensation for the accident, $16,000, which has already been used for physical therapy and medical care. However, I have no additional resources or government assistance, as I have not met the social security requirements for the past five years in Puerto Rico.

I have three young children, ages 10, 8, and 3, whom I once proudly supported. Today, unable to work, I feel powerless. Previously, I was known as DJ Menor El Real, a hardworking, serious, and humble person. I have never had problems with anyone or been involved in anything improper. I only want to stand on my own two feet again and once again provide the best for my children.

I humbly ask PRO Fondos, and all the kind-hearted people who may read this letter, to help me raise the necessary funds to continue fighting for a dignified and hopeful life.

Me dirijo a ustedes con todo el respeto y la esperanza de recibir el apoyo de PRO Fondos. Mi nombre es Juan P. Payano Jones y me encuentro actualmente en una situación médica y económica muy difícil.

Hace dos años y seis meses sufrí un accidente automovilístico en los Estados Unidos. Mientras regresaba del trabajo en motocicleta, un vehículo me impactó por detrás, causándome una grave lesión en la médula espinal que me dejó parapléjico. Desde entonces, he perdido la movilidad en mis piernas, el control de mis esfínteres y dependo completamente de mi familia para realizar actividades básicas del día a día.

Vivo actualmente con mi madre, Lucía Jones García, y mi hermano, Miguel Jones, quienes me ayudan en todo lo posible. Sin embargo, mis necesidades médicas superan nuestras capacidades económicas.

Los fondos que solicito serán destinados a:

• Tratamientos médicos especializados

• Terapias físicas

• Adaptación de vivienda

• Compra de equipos médicos y de movilidad

• Implantes de células madre (6 tratamientos en un año)

Existe un tratamiento de implantes de células madre en la República Dominicana que ofrece una posibilidad real de mejorar mi calidad de vida. Según los especialistas, este tratamiento podría ayudarme a recuperar parte de la movilidad, fortalecer mi cuerpo, controlar nuevamente mis funciones corporales y, con la ayuda de Dios, volver a caminar. Son Seis 6 Secciones, El costo de cada terapia cuesta 7,600 dólares en Total $45,600 dólares en total durante un año.

Recibí una pequeña parte de la indemnización por el accidente, $16,000 dólares, los cuales ya se han utilizado en fisioterapia y atención médica. Sin embargo, no cuento con más recursos ni con ayuda gubernamental, ya que no cumplo con los requisitos de cotización por los últimos cinco años en Puerto Rico.

Tengo tres hijos pequeños, de 10, 8 y 3 años, a quienes antes mantenía con orgullo. Hoy, sin poder trabajar, me siento impotente. Anteriormente, era conocido como DJ Menor El Real, una persona trabajadora, seria y humilde. Nunca he tenido problemas con nadie ni he estado involucrado en nada indebido. Solo deseo volver a valerme por mí mismo y brindar nuevamente lo mejor a mis hijos.

Le pido humildemente a PRO Fondos, y a todas las personas de buen corazón que puedan leer esta carta, que me ayuden a reunir los fondos necesarios para seguir luchando por una vida digna y esperanzadora.

Que Dios los bendiga y toque muchos corazones. Estoy convencido de que, con fe, esfuerzo y ayuda solidaria, podré volver a caminar.
