Put Your Name on Imperial College Team's Rover!
Donation protected
Hi!
We are Imperial Planetary Robotics Lab - a new, small but dedicated, student team at Imperial College London.
Our dream is to create a long-lasting student space robotics team at Imperial. Our mission is to:
"Give students the space to gain experience in space robotics"
When we got started last year, the few of us with a small budget managed to create a rover that qualified us as the only UK team for the European Rover Challenge 2023. We even won the Best in Rover Presentation award!
If you are wondering, yes - we were the only rover partially made from wood ;)
However this was possible only due to personal funding, therefore we would like to ask you for your support to compete again this year. This will allow more students to work on this and future projects we want to incorporate within the team, thus making realising our mission possible.
As a thank you for your support, we will put your name on the rover for supporters donating 15 pounds or over!
In addition, we're more than happy to give you our sticker for your personal collection with a thank you message from us ;)
We will use these funds to:
- Fix and upgrade our rover from last year to compete with new challenges this year
- Allow more students to work on the rover
- Complete our Baby Rover outreach robot to perform educational outreach
- Open more projects within IPRL
Watch our progress on our Space Society Instagram and our IPRL LinkedIn pages!
Thank you from the entire IPRL team! Your support means a lot to us. If you have any questions/queries or ideas feel free to message us via the contact button below!
