Hello everyone,
My name is Luke and my wifes name is Stephanie. We live pretty much at ground zero from the current East Palestine Ohio, vinyl chloride train derailment. My house is .7 miles from the train wreck. We have been evacuated and are displaced still by the derailment. We grabbed are kitties and evacuated. Leaving behind everything that was our life.my wife and I had to leave our home and everything we know. They lifted the evacuation order but we have decided not to return how as we do not think it is safe yet because so many questions go unanswered.If i can reach my goal i am going to help others that are directly effected like myself, i have already helped with water efforts, now it will be long term help for us that live so close to this disaster. I am currently not working right now and my car is at my home for the near future. Please feel free to share, anything helps but DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO HELP. Thank you so much!
