Hello! My name is Nora Fotuhi and my sister, Maya Fotuhi, and I are heading to Africa on May 4th to help build a school in the small village of Kizimkazi, located in southwestern Zanzibar, Tanzania. We take it for granted that we can go to school and get education for free, but there are around 140,000 kids in Zanzibar between the ages of 4 and 15 who do not have access to go to a simple school.
I am working with my uncle in Dubai, Vahid Fotuhi, to raise $100,000 to pay for the bricks, stones, and all the construction tools needed to build the classrooms and playground. My personal goal is to raise at least $10,000 from my end to help contribute to the cost of this important project. I could really use your help in any way possible.
Specifically, the 2-week project consists of physically laying the concrete foundation to build 5 classrooms, boy/girl bathrooms, a playground, and a rooftop solar system to power the school. It is not an easy nor cheap project, and any donation would mean a lot.

You can also contact me personally if you have any questions.
