My mother was a teacher who had a very special nature and capacity to care for and impact the lives of children, including those with disabilities.
The care she demonstrated for others in need is one of her many heartfelt qualities I try to carry forward in my life. Hence, my dedication to mentor others.
Mentoring a motherless daughter ~ There is a special young lady “D” who like me lost her mother to cancer, lives in Harlem with her adoring father and is in need of a preventive medical procedure ~ One that will impact her life greatly, remove anxiety and enhance her special sweet spirit and confidence.
My goal is to raise $8,000 ( amount not covered by insurance) and gift her this money before I leave for Super Bowl at the end of the month.
