Immigration Application Fees and Other Costs

My name is Abhishek Thapa and I'm fundraising for my Green-card application form fees, processing costs and extra costs regarding the process (including but not limited to travel costs). If you are willing and able to help, it would mean a lot to me and would help me get out of my stagnant situation.

I'm an artist originally from Nepal. I was fortunate enough to have immigrated to the US in 2017 and have been here ever since. I originally immigrated here not only for a higher education but also because it wasn't safe for me to be in my home country anymore. I completed my bachelor's at SUNY Oswego located at Oswego, NY and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design with a personal interest in motion graphics and 3D design.

I was working in my field even before I came to the US and was working in any position I could hold as long as my immigration status and limitations allowed me to, right up until my work permit expired in 2022. I have been trying my best to secure a stable status for myself here for a while and have been repeatedly stonewalled. So far I've had to withdraw my work visa application (that my last employer was willing to file on my behalf) because of a small technicality, and I've been trying to apply for asylum because of the escalating situation at home that I originally had to flee from. I haven't been allowed to work since June of 2022 because of immigration restrictions and most of my reserves have been exhausted by either legal processes or keeping myself afloat. It's through the generosity of others that I've been able to stay fed and sheltered so far.

Recently, however, I've been able to have some breakthrough and will be starting my process for a green-card (Permanent Residency) but I’m not able to cover the application fees, processing costs as well as pay bills while I go through this since I won’t be able to work until I get my Green Card or at least a work permit.

The $2000 will cover most of the costs associated with immediate immigration form fees as well as processing fees and the rest will be used towards any travel done for this process and cover any extra costs and bills.
