We bonded with Susana and her family through our mutual love of baseball. Over the past year, we've shared meals, attended our children's baseball games, and even celebrated Christmas together. They've become dear friends and valued community members.

They now face significant financial hardship due to a singular, hourly income, no access to affordable healthcare or childcare, and the impoundment of their vehicle. Add to all of this the fear and anxiety that comes with ICE raids ramping up in Latino communities, and the stress under which they're living feels unbearable.

We've helped them pay for rent, food, transportation, and other costs many times, but now their financial need outweighs our ability to help in an impactful way, and we want to set them up for long-term success. We'd like to raise at least $8,000 to help get them a more reliable vehicle and give them a financial cushion, ensuring that they don't lose their employment or housing over the long term.
