Hi, my name is Nadia Hasan, a thirty-five year old bedridden woman with cerebral palsy, and I need your help. We only have seven days to find a place to live, and despite working with different government programs, they still haven’t been successful in finding available housing. Though they’re still trying.

I’m an undergraduate student, crisis counselor, and author. I’ve been bedridden for about ten years & I lost my grandpa in September of 2025. He was my last remaining parent and my primary caregiver. Currently, I live with my fiancé, and two friends, one of whom has become my new caregiver, and my emotional support animal. Our landlord has decided not to renew our lease because “she can’t take care of herself.” This is in spite of the fact that my current caregiver lives with me and that this house has been adapted to be accessible for my cerebral palsy needs.
