Debra's apartment was hit by Helene in South Carolina. She has black mold growing in the apartment. The landlord took her to court this week and is evicting her instead of fixing the apartment. She has no where to go in

such a short time period. She has less than 7 days to find a place to live. She is on disability income. She has a car but does not want to live in it. This money will help her keep a roof over her head until she finds a permanent residence. She may have to rent a tiny vacation home for a couple weeks unless we can find her permanent housing before Dec 10th. The owners of the rental cut the cost of renting by over 1/2. Which will help greatly if she has to stay there. She has 2 cats that are her babies so they must go with her.
