Update: Unfortunately on 11/4/21 Vishwanatha H.T. passed away despite ongoing medical treatment. He was only 43 years old and leaves behind his wife and 7 year old son. I thank everyone that donated so graciously so far and am looking to continue to fundraise for the family to help support them during this very trying time. Please consider contributing whatever you can. Thank you all again for all of your help.
Story:
My name is Prem Puttegowda and I am trying to raise funds for Vishwanatha H.T., who was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (blood cancer). I cannot think of a more deserving family. His father, Thamanna, used to work as a veterinary clinic janitor (cleaning staff) when I was growing up. I have fond memories of this entire family and how they would go out of their way to help others. He would go above and beyond to come help our family animals to get extra income to support his family. In addition, he would be the go-to person when anyone had aches and pains as he was multi-talented and acted as a healer giving massages and herbal medicines to anyone in need. He did all of this with no expectations at all, with his only goal being to help anyone he could. They all led a simple life and always just struggled to make ends meet, provide food and education for his family. With all of this he managed to raise four kids, one of whom is Vishwanatha H.T. He too has not fallen far from the path of his father. He works as a mechanic at KSRTC and their family is giving and helpful to all around them. He has a wife and one son. Vishwanatha was recently diagnosed with leukemia and this diagnosis has hit them hard for a multitude of reasons. Currently he is struggling for his life in the ICU at Sparsh Hospital and doctors are stating he needs immediate treatment costing to the estimate of 35,000 dollars. As you can imagine, although this family has bountiful love to share, funds have been hard to come by. I urge anyone that can to please help this deserving family as much as you can!
