Hi my name is Oliver Marshall (13) from Bangor, North Down.

I would like to proudly announce that I have been selected to represent Ireland and Northern Ireland in the 2025 International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, in February of this year.

To my knowledge, I am the first competitor from the Bangor and North Down area to be selected to compete in an IMMAF tournament.

The IMMAF European Championships is the premier Amateur MMA tournament in Europe.

This a major achievement and the biggest step I have made in my martial arts journey.

To compete for my Nation at such a prestigious event is a dream come true for me and a major goal accomplished!

I am 13 years old and began martial arts training at 3 years old.

In more recent years I have been competing and training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I am the current 'No-Gi' Irish Champion at Grey belt in BJJ. I also have multiple medals across various BJJ promotions.

Over the last 12 months I have been competing regularly in Youth MMA acquiring multiple medals along the way.

I am dedicated to my craft, regularly training 5 days a week at three different Martial Arts Gyms in the North Down Area as well as keeping on top of my schoolwork at Bangor Grammar and playing for their rugby team.

Amateur MMA is an entirely self funded sport and I have created this Go Fund Me to help cover the costs relating to the travel and accommodation in Belgrade for my Team and I and for future endeavours as there are a multitude of financial costs for each competition I attend.

Please help me in reaching my goal to represent my country in a Major tournament!
