My name is Nathan “Irish Taco” Chambers. I’m an Irish mixed martial artist with a record of 8-3 — every win by finish. I’ve held national titles at both featherweight and bantamweight, and I’ve been selected by Team Ireland (IMMAA) to represent Ireland at the 2026 IMMAF World Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia this November.
This is the biggest opportunity of my career. I’m competing at featherweight with one goal: become a World Champion.
The reality of chasing this dream isn’t easy. I live in Drogheda and train at SBG Naas. To get there I take one train and two buses almost every day — a long, draining commute I make because I refuse to train anywhere but the best.
Right now I’m living out of my car. It’s not a temporary thing — it’s been my reality while I’ve kept training and competing. There’s no proper bed, limited space for food or kit, and trying to recover properly after hard sessions is a constant battle. It’s cold, uncomfortable, and far from ideal, but I’ve accepted it because quitting was never an option. This is what it’s taken to stay in the gym and stay ready for chances like this one.
To get to the World Championships I need help covering:

Accommodation – €1,350
Flights – €400
Brain scan (required medical) – €320

Total: €2,070
I’ve put everything into this — the long journeys, the sacrifices, living in the car, the grind. Representing Ireland on the world stage means everything to me. With your support I can focus on the only thing that matters when I step into that cage: winning.
Any amount helps. Even sharing this page makes a real difference.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for backing an Irish fighter.
