Hi my name is Renaye and Pickle is my 2.5 yr old dachshund. She is in critical condition with a diagnosis of IMHA.

This is a life threatening condition where her immune system is attacking her red blood cells. Red blood cells are needed to carry oxygen throughout the body.

I have exhausted all funds available to me for her treatment so far. She has had one blood transfusion and in on steroids and blood thinners.

She perked up and things were looking better after that transfusion. But since then has gone back down again and im guessing those cells have also been attacked. It takes several days for the meds to start to work to turn off her immune system and in the meantime time She is struggling to keep red blood cells.

We really need your help please!

Ideally She should be in critical care at the vet. But at $1500 for 12 hrs not including any treatments and 2K per blood transfusion I just dont have the funds to help her more than what I am doing at home nursing her.
