Hello my name is Lorasia and I have been given a scholarship to Cambridge University. The school is amazing and I am so shocked that I even got in. I am only 14 and am ready for a trip like this even though it scares me. I'm doing this for the education that my loved ones that have passed on,wanted me to have. I am majoring in medical science and Law and or Criminology. I've worked so hard on my application to Cambridge,and now I am continuing that work into raising the money that my scholarship did not cover. I am trying so hard to get this money,and am willing to prove in many ways possible I deserve it.
I go to George Middle school and I've worked hard these past 8 school years of my life to take bigger steps and reach further than expected, and to work for the things I am given. I am very grateful for this opportunity and am proud to say I have it. It's nice to come out of a small area and do something big. I cannot thank ALL of my teachers I have ever had enough, I am so grateful for having such wonderful teachers give me an education.
I would also like to thank my family and friends because they never let me give up and always inspired and supported me through all the new things I wanted to try, getting bullied, and asking for help in class.
To all the people that are supporting me and this campaign , I am grateful and wish good things for you all.
This campaign is for a summer program for freshman and 8th graders at Cambridge University in England.I was given a scholarship that pays half of the fees. I am proud to say I was given this scholarship. This program lasts one month and it provides me with breakfast and dinner but laundry fees and such are not included in my scholarship,explaining why my goal is so high.
This gofundme campaign is not the only way to support me, in a few weeks I'm going to be selling Hawaiian food with my mom and I'll post updates on wen and where if your interested or have any thoughts or advice or questions then you can come and talk to me, and thank you for your time.

I am so proud of you my baby girl! You have made your dad and I so very proud in all that you have accomplished in life. With all that you have been through in the last year with the lost of your favorite aunt Nita and losing your uncle Isaac too and just going through the roughest times in your life. You have learned so much to keep your faith and strength strong during the weakest times of your life. You have come a long way and you have studied so hard and so much in the last year that this is one of the greatest opportunity that you can ever receive at the age of 14yrs old to be going to college to Europe and to be attending the TWO top best colleges in the world is pretty darn amazing!
