Never in a million years would I even be thinking I would have to write this. God created my Mother, Imelda Marie Hernandez-Rodríguez to be one of his strongest warriors and put her on this Earth on August 25th 1969. She fought many battles during her time with us but never gave up. She taught us all about perseverance and strength. She’d tell me “no matter what life brings your way, it is a test from God.” She miraculously came out of a coma in 2009 when all odds were against her and that speaks as a testament to how much strength my 4’11 1/2 firecracker of a mother had. (Everyone knows that half mattered to her deeply LOL). She went back home to the Lord on May 25th 2024 and has left us with a hole in our hearts that will never recover. She was a one of a kind lady who approached life with an infectious smile and quick witted jokes. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Sofia and her Aunt Elizabeth. Please keep her name alive and please share memories of her. She was loved by all and will be forever missed. Life without her is unimaginable but we are blessed to have known her and for the time that we shared with her. We created this page to help cover costs of funeral and burial expenses. This shock came unexpectedly and we were not prepared financially. Anything will help, we want to give her the celebration she deserves. Thank you, God bless you all.
