Wales Over 40s Cricket are delighted to be sending a team to compete at the Over 40s World Cup in Guyana from 17th October to 1st November 2026, where we will be competing against established test nations such as England, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the hosts West Indies, as well as associate members such as Scotland, Namibia, USA. Canada, and Colombia

Cricket is, and has always been a massive part of our players' lives, and all those selected will have made, and continue to make, significant contributions both on and off the field to their clubs, communities and the sport as a whole.

This is an amazing opportunity, but unlike professional international cricket, it is completely self-funded - we currently receive no financial support from either our National Governing body Cricket Wales or our associated county Glamorgan, meaning players are responsible for covering the full cost of travel, accommodation, kit and tournament fees.

We have set this page up in the hope of raising some support towards the trip. If you would like to contribute, any donation, no matter the size, would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards helping the players take part in the tournament.

We appreciate that times are tough and there are many important causes our there, so we completely understand that not everyone will be in a position to help.
