Imani's Service Trip to South Africa!

Hi, I’m Imani Miller. I’m raising money for a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to South Africa! It’s a 19-day service trip with my school (Principia). We’ll be participating in the Simunye Project (Simunye means "we are one"). The Simunye Project’s vision is “We believe in the oneness of humanity and seek to create sustainable change in underserved communities in South Africa by providing access to education, food and water.” This trip would mean the world to me because it gives me a chance to give back in a meaningful way, see life from a different perspective and experience something larger than myself.

However, the cost of the trip is $5,000 for 19 days; it includes travel, accommodations, food, and $1,000 is exclusively dedicated to the materials we’ll need to work on our project.
