Hey guys! I was previously out of work due to experiencing harassment and disrespect at my workplace, and unfortunately, was met with limited support from my employer. At the beginning of August, I began to experience severe stress-related illness(countless bodily issues) and symptoms of PTSD that were disabling me from doing things I enjoy and support me, and doing my job viably. I attempted to go through workplace insurance and worker's compensation and received minimal financial compensation for my time out of work. Due to the additional financial hardship this lack of income caused, I returned back to work in early December. I worked for a week and a half before experiencing a serious mental health crisis, which kept me from going to work for the scheduled workdays before the holiday. Due to my inability to work, and their view of my behavior as a professional, I was terminated from my job on December 22nd. I wasted no time looking for work and finding all avenues to provide for myself and was met with little response. This termination, and the previous financial hardship, have made providing for myself in the interim of finding work extremely difficult. I am behind on my mortgage and unsure how to pay bills without stretching my close friends and family to their own financial capacity. I cannot afford the IOP or regular therapy I need, I am missing Dr's appts, physical therapy, and the start of my gender affirming care as well. Any support you give is greatly appreciated and any recommendations/connections to jobs that you can send my way would be a huge help in me getting back on my feet.
