Hi my name is Jamal and I need your help. To whoever is reading this, the Imam Shafi' School for Quran and Islamic Studies is in need of your help. The school is located in East Ethiopia (Somali State) and helps more than 100 local students.
We are trying to build a building for the school for the young Muslims so it can accommodate their needs. The picture below shows the current condition of the school. The entire project cost is about $12,000 to build 4 classrooms and one small office.
The majority of children in this community come from low income families and this school has been a big blessing to the entire community.
However, due to a lack of funds, the school is in need of your help. Islamic Schools play a huge role in the upbringing of a Muslim child especially in financially unstable areas. This school has qualified teachers, follows proven methods of teaching Islamic studies and has played a huge role in the community. We would hate to see this school not get the new building they are trying to get.
