I am Zach and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Jehan in Gaza upon her request. Her story is below:

We are a family of ten. Since the war began, we have been forced to move from place to place, carrying nothing but fear and exhaustion. Today, we are in the south of Gaza, with no roof over our heads and no safe corner to rest in. We are completely homeless.

My father and mother are elderly and both sick, and every day without shelter is putting their lives at even greater risk. The ground is hard, the nights are cold, and the constant noise of bombs makes it impossible to sleep. My younger siblings cry from hunger and fear, and all I can do is hold them tightly while praying for tomorrow.

We are desperately trying to rent a small piece of land and buy 5 tents so our family of ten can at least live with some dignity. But tents are extremely expensive here, and without help, it is impossible for us to afford them. We are asking for $6,000 to cover the cost of land and 5 tents.

We need to raise this amount urgently within this week so we can finally have a place to call home, even if it is only a tent. Please, if you are reading this, know that your support could save us from sleeping another night under the open sky. Even the smallest contribution will make a difference.

We don’t ask for luxuries. We only ask for shelter. Something so simple, yet for us right now, it means survival. Please help us reach $6,000 this week so my family can finally have a safe space to live.
