I'm writing to raise fund for my trip to Japan :)

Hello, my name is Raine, and I'm fundraising for my next trip to Japan.

My health condition, as a breast cancer survivor and a BRCA1 carrier, combined with my role as a full-time homemaker with a young child in a foreign country with a very high cost of living, and without any family support, has made it difficult for me to generate any income in the near future.

That said, I do not want to give up on my wish to continue exploring Japan. I want to do this as frequently as possible, especially while I'm still physically able and before my total hysterectomy surgery, which is expected to be done in the coming 3-5 years. I'm very passionate about Japanese arts and literature, and some of my best friends reside in the country.

I understand that there are more people in this world who need money more urgently than I do, and I do feel undeserving. Nevertheless, starting a fundraiser seems to be one of the very few options I could consider at the moment.

Despite not being able to work, I've decided to start writing, with the hope of improving the livelihoods of more people in this world by raising awareness of health and environmental issues while bridging cultural differences.

How I'm going to spend this 2k Euro:

Accommodation: Backpacker hostels or couch-surfing during the 2-3 weeks trip

Flights: Capped at 1.2k Euro and below

Transportation: Strictly public transportation

Meals: Capped at 10 Euros a day

Misc: Entrance tickets, eSims, etc.
