Hello everyone!

My name is Leanne and I'm walking 62 miles in March in support of Pieta House. This is to ensure they can continue their work in supporting all those who have been impacted by suicide and self-harm. This cause is very close to my heart.

Please consider making a donation (no matter how small!) because every little bit helps. It costs €36 for Pieta House to answer three calls to their crisis line. In 2025, their helpline answered 100,000 calls and texts from people reaching out in their darkest moments.

I am completely committed to complete this challenge (no matter what), and even have a walking pad at the ready for when the Irish weather decides to throw us another downpour.

Hope is something Pieta House strive to give each person who comes to them in their time of need. They help them feel more hopeful about the future as we continue to tackle the grave issue of suicide and self-harm in Ireland.

They are passionate about their life-saving work. As over 80% of their income comes from fundraising events, they rely heavily on the support and encouragement of donations from challenges like these.
