I'm walking 100 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me. My story starts in March of 2022 when my husband,Brien,was diagnosed with stage four prostrate cancer. He has gone through chemotherapy and most recently six weeks of radiation therapy at Mayo clinic. The American Cancer Society reached out prior to his radiation treatments and helped to organize lodging for us during his stay. They were very accomodating and professional in response to our needs.
