I'm visually impaired and need help going back to university
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Harriott and I’m fundraising to return to university to pursue a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology — a dream I’ve held onto despite significant personal and financial challenges.
I’m registered severally visually impaired, and while I’ve never let that define my ambition, it has undeniably shaped the path I’ve had to take. During my first time at university, I struggled without the right support in place for my condition. This not only affected my academic experience, but ultimately made continuing financially and emotionally unsustainable.
However despite the monumental difficulties I faced with lack of appropriate support, I was able to achieve a degree.
Now in order to realise my life's passion to become a Forensic Psychologist, I need to obtain a British Psychological Society accreditation to work in this field.
To do this, I need to return to university to enroll on a masters degree course. This is not eligible for student finance or grant funded, despite my disability
Now, with greater awareness, determination, and improved accessibility services available, I’m ready to return and do it right.
I want to use this qualification to work in criminal justice, support vulnerable individuals, and contribute to meaningful change.
Unfortunately, the financial barrier of Tuition fees. This is where I need your help.

Every donation — no matter the size — brings me closer to achieving something I once thought was out of reach. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing this page would still mean the world.
