Healthcare is a team sport. This last year, I lost two grandparents to cancer- both who dedicated their lives to helping others and putting everyone else’s needs above theirs. In honor of them, I am dedicating 5 miles of swimming this month, coincidentally the month before I apply to medical school, to support the American Cancer Society.
