I'm swimming 5 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer.

My Mom died of ovarian cancer, my Dad of complications from lymphoma. 

My Dad’s Mom died of complications from breast cancer.  Many other friends and family have experienced breast cancer!

Countless friends and family have also experienced many other forms of cancer from colon cancer to multiple myeloma to melanoma!  It’s unbelievable really.

I’m somewhat disabled. Swimming (with snorkeling equipment because I can’t raise my shoulders over my head) is the one exercise I can still do! Don’t get me wrong - I’m doing this for ACS AND ME!

So this will give me a goal and a reason!

I can’t tell you it will be perfect - but I’m going to give it a shot!
