I’m swimming 5 miles to help the American Cancer Society (ACS) fight for a world without cancer.

As you might know, my family’s lives have been rocked by cancer the past few years. Last June I was doing this fundraiser in honor of my Dad, who had entered into hospice after his difficult battle with cancer. This June, I’m swimming in honor of my Dad, the SURVIVOR who beat the odds and left hospice cancer free. He’s my role model, the best Dad and Pap around, and I’m so proud of him.

I’m also doing this in honor of all my relatives lost to cancer who I know would be some of my biggest supporters in this.
