The American Cancer Society has a challenge to swim 5 miles in June to fight for a world without cancer. I’m a competitive swimmer fully dedicated to this sport, so I’ve decided to up the challenge and swim 50 miles for all those battling cancer and try to raise the original goal of $250, so I’m aiming for $1500 raised to go towards ACS. This is a very meaningful cause to me as I have a handful of immediate family members fighting cancer, and watching their strength really inspires me. I want to do my part to help them and everyone else the best way I know how. ACS holds top ratings from Charity Navigator, the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, and Candid.
